| On Monday May 4, 2009 our Iles Funeral Homes-Dunn’s Chapel experienced a fire in an attic storage area. Due to the quick response and professionalism of the Des Moines Fire Department, the damage was limited to our attic storage area. Cleaning has already begun in the other areas of the funeral home which sustained water and smoke damage.
During the restoration process Dunn’s will continue to serve families through our other Des Moines locations, Westover Funeral Home 6337 Hickman Rd. and Grandview Park Funeral Home 3211 Hubbell.
We are grateful for the outpouring of support from the families we serve in our community and our colleagues in the funeral industry.
